Day 4 Peterborough, August 9,2014-a market and a play

Saturday was market day.

But not until we had breakfast-Holly missed out on the French toast though!

I love to look at markets

and there was lots to see

From candles to beautiful flowers

And of course performers

Those Mexican omelette looked delicious

And prices for flowers were reasonable

Looking for a gift for a fisherman?

Or a matching hat and mittens?

plums and peaches?

It was rather warm but we motivated Holly for a walk

and then we were off to the Fourth Line Theatre

Where first we had a nice picnic dinner you can buy there

And then we enjoyed the play, Wounded Soldiers-below is the battle scene

This building played the backdrop of the hospital and a home for cripples. The play was excellent and we learned about another side of this senseless war.

The sky after the performance though in the ride home I wasn't able to catch the red sky setting

But having caught a glimpse of the Super Moon at the end of the show

we went on a walk when we got home to try to get a good picture

This was the best I did with my iPhone!

another great day!
