Toledo to Salamanca, March 14,2016

Our next stop for the night was Salamanca.

Above is the entrance into the main plaza.

We arrived late afternoon and we're able to walk around the old section

It was busy in the streets with lots of young people. It is most known for its university.

I found a delightful shop but it was actually French!

Here is the cathedral but we didn't go in as it was closes

I liked this manhole cover

Some people did get up into the bell tower.

Frogs are a symbol of good luck here.

The beautiful entrance to the plaza

And a very young soccer player!

We walked back to our hotel where we had a not memorable dinner.
