Wednesday after rush hour was over we were off to visit our friends, Anne and Barrie in Peterborough. Anne, Linda, and I all went to Queen's to do the one year Bachelor of Education degrees after our Arts degrees. Barrie did Engineering there as well and Anne and Barrie have lived in this area ever since they were married!
Happily we had good weather!
Our first exciting stop was to purchase butter tarts before we got there.
We even met the Queen of butter tarts!
And yes they were delicious but very sweet! I vote for the pecan ones (mind you I didn't have plain or raisin ones.
Delicious dinner and a lovely walk once we arrived at Anne and Barrie's
Holly the dog was then ready for bed!
But bright and early the next morning
She was ready for action
But she was left behind because Anne and Linda and I were off to nearby Lindsey
Lots of fun shopping
Neat old buildings
I liked this mural
The clothes match the plants
Anne and Barry had an apartment in this house long long ago when I was still living in Montreal
We eventually ended up in downtown Peterborough and discovered some neat bean bag furniture
After another great dinner and walk all in all a fun day with good friends
