I will tell you a bit about my trip. I leave Monday via Chicago with my friend, Sue and we head to Dublin via Chicago. In Dublin we will link up with two of her friends from teaching in Singapore, and then all four of us will head to Santiago de Compostela where we will be walking the last 100 km section of the El Camino's French Way. A bus will take us to Sarria, our starting point and we walk back to Santiago. We have it easy, our bags our taken to each night's accomodation so we only have to deal with day packs. Here are a few pictures of what we may see.
I can't say I have really been seriously training so that is all good. After the trip has been completed we will rent a car and head up the coast from Santiago to San Sebastian where we have an apartment rented, which we will use as a base to explore the Basque country of Spain.
Then we fly from Bilboa to Dublin in Ireland, spend a couple of nights there and then head to Bushmills on the northern coast of Northern Island to explore Northern Ireland and Galway.
Long ago I was in Ireland, exploring Dublin and the western part of the Republic, and am really looking forward to seeing the North. The Giants' Causeway should be a real highlight.Stay tuned for my adventures if I manage to get packed!

Deciding on how to handle blogging on an ipod
I am going on a trip without my trusty laptop and only my iPad. Can I survive? I am so used to blogging but not sure how much I want to write on an iPad keyboard but not sure how my life could be without documenting it. hmm... I have spent a couple of hours figuring out various ways to so.
Right now I am testing out platforms on a new blog... I will post,a picture from my own beautiful city and see what I think!
